The book prescribed for the FY and SYJC is "En Enchanges". It deals with French grammar, lifestyle and culture. The book also contains examples of documents, such as, passport, visas, train tickets, timetables, menucards, advertisements, photographs and humorous illustrations and this enlivens the experience of learning. It is a scoring subject. The knowledge of the French language is an asset and will help students who wish to pursue careers in the Hotel and the Tourism industry especially.
