As per a directive issued by the Director of NAAC, all colleges that have been accredited have to set up an Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC), as a post-accreditation quality sustenance measure, in order to ensure that quality of a high standard is maintained. The IQAC was set up at Sophia in 2003.

IIt is imperative that students give a feedback to the IQAC Questionnaires which will be administered at the entry point of the FYBA/BSC/BMM, the SYBA/BSC/BMM, and the TYBA/BSC/BMM classes and also at the exit point of the final year classes. All students are expected to respond to these questionnaires in a sincere and responsible manner.

These questionnaires are analyzed so that an effective implementation of the feedback is achieved. The academic progression of each student from FY to TY is also maintained and analyzed by the IQAC.
