· Government of India freeships for the economically backward class (EBC) are available.
· A student belonging to a Scheduled Caste or Scheduled Tribe is eligible for a full Tuition Scholarship.
· A student whose parent is a teacher in a primary or secondary school may apply for a scholarship if she has a first class in the S.S.C. or in the University examinations.

Applications on the prescribed form, obtainable from the Accounts Office, should be made at the beginning of the academic year.

In addition, a large number of scholarships, prizes and awards have been instituted for students under various categories. This encourages students to develop their potential and talents.
