Dr. (Sr.) Anila Verghese, Principal of Sophia College, was one of thirteen Principals of the University of Mumbai who visited the leading Higher Educational Institutions in UK as part of the 'Sheriff of Mumbai UK Delegation'. The delegation was headed by Dr. Indu Shahani, Sheriff of Mumbai, and Dr. Vijay Khole, Vice-Chancellor of the University of Mumbai.
